City of Cape Town Urban Planning & Design Department (UPD): Exhibition to Event 4

The Deputy Mayor and Mayoral Committee Member for the Spatial Planning and Environment Portfolio, Alderman Eddie Andrews will be hosting a range of events in the week of 27 July to 3 August.

Event 4 is a specific opportunity created for members of CIDs/ SRAs or Business / Property Representatives in the City’s Improvement Districts/ Special Rating Areas, to visit the exhibition.

The purpose of the exhibition is to:

• Create awareness of the services offered by the department;
• Create awareness of the current projects and those in process, to encourage participation and identify potential areas of collaboration;
• Build a relationship with you as a stakeholder in the development industry and ensure continuous engagement on a range of spatial issues; and
• Communicate the next level of projects / interventions as part of the implementation of the City’s spatial frameworks.
