Warning – Residential Emergency Numbers – Waarskuwing

There are 2 to 3 people working currently in Vredekloof and Vredekloof Heights, painting “House Numbers” on the pavement or driveways. The idea behind it is very good and although they claim to just deliver a service to “old” customers who phoned them and they do not knock on people’s doors, we received the following complaints from residents:

1. One of them were drinking in the car parked in a Public Open Space
2. On that day the driver could not provide an ID or a drivers license
3. They do knock on “old” customers doors and ask if they can repaint the number
4. They paint the number and then knock on the door and ask for money

Today we again approached the driver to provide us with identification as we offered to inform the residents of their service, but they refused to do so.

We are receiving good co-operation from all “contractors” working in the area but not from them. We are therefore obliged to inform you of their modes operandi and their presence in the area.

The identified themselves as Sabastian and Randall Lamour. The vehicles they are using are as follows:
