Water and sanitation tariffs to increase for 2012/13
The City of Cape Town’s Water and Sanitation Department must at all times work to ensure that safe, good quality water is supplied to all parts of Cape Town. This includes replacing old water pipes, upgrading infrastructure for water treatment plants, and planning and implementing water saving projects.
The tariffs for water and sanitation will of necessity therefore increase for the 2012/13 financial year to address essential operational requirements.
Refer to their website for tariffs.
